While we were inside the North Cape Hall a thick fog covered the
cape. People were trying to find their ways in this milky air. You
could barely see 10 meters ahead of you. Buses and cars were slowly
appearing from nowhere and silently disappearing into nowhere again.
Fog brought more cold into already not exactly warm air. Temperature
fell down to 5 degrees. I've even got some ice in my hair. Everyone was
wet and cold. So we decided to call it a day and go back to the cabins.
Driving back was quite a challenge. Road was difficult and visibility
close to zero.
It was quite a relief when we finally reached the
cabin. After a good night sleep we had a long road to Hammerfest and
Alta ahead of us.
